USA Football is an independent non-profit organization leading the development of youth, high school, and international amateur football. In its role as the national governing body of America's favorite sport, USA Football provides programs and resources inspiring participation and further strengthening the quality of the game. USA Football was endowed by the NFL and NFL Players Association in 2002.
We maintain a league for local football teams to participate in youth football and cheerleading. We assist with scheduling of ambulance services, high school (NCOA) officials scheduling, munchie games (round robins), All star games, and Super bowl games at the end of the season.
The league provides insurance, back ground (DOJ) checks (livescan fingerprinting), a yearly coaches clinic and works through the team league representative to complete and distribute playing rules for the upcoming season.
We are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization for youth football and cheerleading. The TVYFL has been serving youth in the central valley since 1990.
The goal of our League is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates.
Our rules and decisions will always maintain the top priority of this league regarding all teams- what is in the best interested of the CHILDREN, as this is top reason we are here.
Our league has a minimum play rule currently set at 10 plays per child per game. We accept football players and cheerleaders between 7 years of age to 14 years of age dated on November 30 of the current season.
We do not accept high school age participants. Our goal is to increase high school football and cheerleading participation for the local high schools served by our teams here in the central valley.
